Alice in Wonderland- Film Review

By Rebecca 6th Class

Alice in Wonderland is suitable for all ages. It tells the story of a young girl called Alice. Much like the classic she follows a rabbit into his rabbit hole. From there she gets herself into all sorts of crazy adventures to defeat the Red Queen.

Tim Burton directs this modern version of the classic. Mia Wasikowska(as Alice), Johnny Depp(as the Mad Hatter), Anne Hathaway( as the White Queen) and Helena Bonham Carter( as the Red Queen) all star in this wonderful movie.

The setting of this movie is almost exactly the same as the classic, which is fantastic. The scenery is absolutely amazing! From the giant mushrooms to the smallest flower. The special effects were something else! It makes the whole movie come alive.

My favourite part of the movie is when she defeats the Jabawaki. There is a great sense of satisfaction when she chops of its head! I definately recommend this movie because it is enchating! But its not for the faint hearted!
